New featured affiliates
Recently, we've joined up with other writing groups and next month, we'll be doing things together such as word wars, critique sessions, competitions, collaborative story writing... the list is endless. They'll be doing things with us too, it's nice to know that not all literature groups hate each other! Without further ado, our featured affiliates are:
With our 'selected partners', there's a lot to look forward to this coming month. Including a late night literature quiz on 30th November to celebrate NaNoWriMo successes and the beginning of Christmas (undeniably an exciting time ).
It's upon us again, that momentous task that you'll inevitably enjoy. Are you a pantser, a planner or a percolator? Personally, I'm more of a percolator.
Whatever your way of doing the National Novel Writing Month, you can be sure that we'll be supporting and encouraging you right through November with critique sessions, word wars, themes of the week and general encouragement! I'm doing 10,000 words on the Young Writers Program and you can add me as a friend by clicking here.
Every year, FightToWrite redesigns it homepage to keep it fresh and relevant, last year MarioSonicLover kindly redesigned it with the colour green in mind. We want to know what you want to see on the homepage and what you don't. If you want to help redesign, then please send a note to the group and we'll be more than happy to have your services! We expect to have the redesign in January.
Don't forget, the icon contest closes tomorrow. Get your submissions in!
1000 Members Goal
It's short and sweet: we're aiming for one thousand members by April 2013. Tell all your friends about how amazing we are and we'll thank you forever and always! You can also help in a bigger way by becoming a contributor, simply send a note to the group.
Finally, our hearts go out to those affected by Superstorm Sandy on the East coast of America. Here in North England, rain is a daily occurrence but we can't imagine how difficult things are for you, we hope your life returns to normality soon.
I told you changes were coming, here's some of the first. Thanks for reading this exceptionally long post.
See you soon!
